We believed — and still do — that great hospitality starts with intention. The kind that’s felt in the details, seen in the reviews, and remembered long after check-out.

What started as a single short-term rental quickly grew into a business built on systems, service, and soul. Today, we support other owners and investors with the kind of partnership we wish we’d had from the beginning: honest, boutique, and deeply guest-obsessed.

The Story Behind HER

HER stands for Humble Elephant Real-estate, and the name was born during our very first road trip together — one of those long conversations about dreams, purpose, and what kind of legacy we wanted to build.

The idea came out fast: a female-focused real estate empire helping women find freedom through ownership and income. Because we’ve heard too many stories of women feeling stuck in relationships or life paths with no financial way out — and we believe real estate can change that.

The name? Inspired by a lifelong admiration for elephants — gentle but powerful, wise, protective, and proudly matriarchal. By the time the vision was fully spoken into life, Joe had already secured the domain and the LLC. That was the first of many power-couple moments: one dreaming big, the other making it real — efficiently, strategically, and with intention.
